Loving the slow-drying and workability of oils, but not liking the fumes, cleanup and environmental impact...I experimented with "water soluble oils" but found that the chemicals were a bit too toxic. Converting from traditional oils to acrylic was a challenging ordeal but worth it. I've also discovered "open acrylics," which dry more slowly.
